About Us
Osteopath
Saffron-Jade McCormack graduated from European School of Osteopathy with an Integrated Masters degree in Osteopathy and is a registered with the General Osteopathic Council and the Institute of Osteopathy.
She treats cranio-structurally, meaning that her treatments combine elements of structural osteopathy and cranial osteopathy, allowing her to provide a body lead treatment tailored to patient’s individual needs. She also encourages her patients to take an active role in their treatment and management by giving exercises when necessary and having frequent reviews of their progression.
The Practice
SJM Osteopathy started in 2017 in Cherry Hinton at the Cherry Hinton Baptist Church Family Centre. In 2019 the practice moved to The Cottage on the high street where it plans to grow.
SJM Osteopathy wants to create a sense of harmony and balance from the moment you step through the doors, to achieve this we have a “looped” system. Patients will enter the clinic from the side passage, into the waiting room and through into the treatment room. After your treatment you’ll exit the clinic through the front door, leaving a different way to how you arrived, as a metaphor that your body will have changed and be different as well.
At SJM Osteopathy we use a variety of techniques including structural, cranial, soft tissue and visceral, to provide a body led treatment tailored to the individual's needs. We encourage patients to be involved with their treatment and progression because most of the real progression comes from self-management. We treat people of all ages and backgrounds presenting with a varying condition with an interest in treating babies and children and pregnant and post-partum women and migraines.
Our passion for osteopathy comes from our desire to "make patients feel like they have a new body"
